I’m an Assistant Professor of User Experience Design at Western Kentucky University, where I teach and research at the intersection of UX, speculative design, and emerging technologies. My work is driven by a simple but persistent question: what kinds of futures are we designing for—and who gets to shape them?

I’m particularly interested in speculative and critical design as tools for helping students and communities interrogate technology beyond usability and efficiency. I’m interested in exploring the social, cultural, and ethical implications of systems like generative AI.

When I’m not teaching, researching, or tinkering, you can usually find me hanging out with my human counterpart, Justin, and my corgi Pixel (better known as Pip).
